2 山形大学医学部附属病院は、1976年10月に開院して以来、「人間性豊かな信頼の医療」を目標に、山形県で唯一の特定機能病院として高度医療・先進医療を提供して参りました。 近年の医療技術の向上は目覚ましく、最先端の医療技術・機器を導入し診療に当たっています。 当院は、特に先進的ながん診療の推進を大きな目標として掲げ、国立大学では最も早く医学部に‶がんセンター”を開設しました。 個々の患者さんの治療方針を多職種で検討するキャンサー・トリートメントボードは、山形大学方式として全国の集学的がん治療のモデルとなっています。 2019年には、がんゲノム医療を行う全国34のがんゲノム医療拠点病院の一つに指定され、患者さんのがんの遺伝子異常に対応した最適な治療法を選択する個別化医療も推進しています。 また、研究協力への同意を得た患者さんから血液、組織などを提供していただき、「山形バイオバンク」を立ち上げ、がん以外の病気に関してもゲノム医療を提供する体制づくりを進めています。 さらに東北・北海道で唯一の重粒子線治療装置も2021年から稼働しています。 このように当院は、最後の砦として地域医療を支えるとともに、高度医療・先進医療開発に教職員一丸となって取り組んでいます。Since its opening in October, 1976, Yamagata University Hospital has been providing advanced and state-of-the-art medical treatment as Yamagata prefecture's only advanced treatment hospital, with the goal of "trustworthy medical care, rich in humanity".Recent advances in medical technology have been truly outstanding, and we have introduced the most up to date medical technologies and equipment into the medical treatment that we provide.A particular goal of the Hospital is the promotion of state-of-the-art cancer treatment, and we were in fact the first national university to establish a Cancer Center in the Faculty of Medicine.Through our multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of individual patients, the Cancer Treatment Board's Yamagata Method has become a national model for multi-disciplinary cancer treatment.In 2019, the Hospital was designated one of Japan's 34 cancer genomics core hospitals, promoting personalized medical treatment that identifies the optimal therapy in response to the particular genetic abnormality of the patient's cancer.In addition, the Hospital has launched the Yamagata Biobank, with blood and tissue samples donated by patients who have consented to cooperate in our research, and advancing the development of a system to provide genome therapy for diseases other than cancer.Furthermore, the only heavy ion radiotherapy devices in the Tohoku / Hokkaido region have been operational since 2021.In this way, the Hospital functions as a major support to medical care in the region, and the entire faculty and staff are working as one for the further development of advanced and state-of-the-art medical treatment.Trustworthy medical care, rich in humanity医学部附属病院長 佐藤慎哉SHINYA SATODirector, Yamagata University Hospital人間性豊かな信頼の医療
